NGOs/CBOs are facing many problems e.g. standard systems which can qualify them for funding, marketing to the donor/partner organizations, right projects which are acceptable for partner/donor organization. This issue arises due to inadequate funds, distance from the offices of donor agencies, right and timely information. Many other NPOs just stop their operations by no project issue after failure in marketing.
GAIN has a vision to support NPOs if they have right vision and they want to work in formal way for society. This Forum will provide them the services of marketing, system designing as per the demand from donor/partner agencies, right operations and projects which are acceptable for these agencies for funding.
GAIN as a consulting agency can perform this service by senior associates from social/financial sector. Its agenda is very clear that the first need for a social entity is self-sustainability in financial meters. GAIN will provide them models from micro entrepreneurs, trading, microfinance, SHGs and business partnerships to make these entities self-sustain.
Second issue about leadership among these NGOs, GAIN has a complete model to create leadership from grass root level and it will be completely democratic model. GAIN will have no interfere about leadership issues and these NGOs will get decisions of their management by their own.
In social sector, there is no support for social workers and NGOs in crises. GAIN is offering Endowment fund like Fouji Foundation. This fund will support social workers, NGOs in crises and the basic needs of life and emergencies. But it is a future project after the completion of first phase of the network.
The vision of all subjects is to create a complete setup which does unfortunately not exists in Pakistan. This setup will do work for society in discipline, security and confidence.
